TV Floor-plans

Have you ever watched a serial TV program, a sitcom for instance, and found yourself wondering what the property depicted in the set would like if you could visit? A Spanish interior designer Iñaki Aliste Lizarralde did and used his skills to draw some very detailed floor-plans. I have posted some of my favourites below (click to enlarge) but visit his gallery to see lots more.

Mountain Jog

A runner with a camera attached to his head jogs through the mountains of Chamonix by the Lac Blanc. Some truly stunning scenery caught in wonderful detail. Makes you feel good to be alive.

ARING

OK so the ARING technology is mildly smart but I'm not sharing this video because of that. It is the truly horrendous advertisement that makes this a winner for me. Perhaps the awful dialogue and awful acting were intentional to ensure it went viral? Well if so it worked. It is the dog I feel sorry for.

Egg Art

Ornamental eggs are a signature craft of Eastern Europe. The jewelled Fabergé versions once coveted by the Russian nobility are really just a high-end take on a humbler, older, and perhaps even more remarkable Easter tradition.

Fnar Fnar!

Sorry for the juvenile title but this video is all about the world's largest organ! (Teehee). Most Philadelphians don’t realise that the largest working musical instrument in the world is built into one of the city’s landmarks, the former John Wanamaker department store, now Macy’s.

The Wanamaker Grand Court Organ at Macy’s is a 7-story-high contraption bigger than most people’s houses. The vast maze of 26,677 pipes and baffles and bellows and wires and wooden stairways lies hidden behind the walls.

Big Swim

How would you fancy taking a swim in the world's largest swimming pool. Actually this pool is so large that you can kayak, sail, water ski, scuba dive, and do much more without getting in anyone's way. Found in Chile it over 3,000 feet long and holds 66 million gallons of salt water.
