Wearable technology seems to be the thing at the moment. But what about the lover of the outdoors, is there anything for us? Well apparently the answer is yes. I'm sure you're familiar with the Leatherman multi-tool. It is considered by many an essential piece of kit, not just for a time in the wilderness, but round the home and at work as well. Well now Leatherman has turned their versatile device in to a bracelet (with optional watch) that boasts 25 separate tools you can wear on your wrist.

War Pictures

As is explained in this short film, The Rescued Film Project has tasked itself with discovering and restoring the work of photographers past. Unlocking some wonderful images that would otherwise be lost to time. Here they have discovered and process 31 rolls of film shot by an American WWII soldier over 70 years ago unlocking some images that have never been seen before.

As we live in a time where nearly everything we desire so readily available it is often easy to forget how wonderful hand-crafted can be. Watch as Yasuo Okazaki turns solid blocks of wood in to traditional Japanese kokeshi dolls. It is hard to describe how soothing the process is especially when it comes to delicately painting the fine facial details.

A short futuristic film by Eran May-raz and Daniel Lazo, that was their graduation project. I like that although it features technology that we don't currently have, it is not too far from fact.

Grammy-award winning musician, producer and self-proclaimed "musical genius" Chilly Gonzales has worked with the likes of Daft Punk, Drake, Feist and Peaches. Now German radio station 1LIVE has teamed up with Chilly for "1LIVE Chilly Gonzales Pop Music Masterclass" - a video column in which Chilly explains what we love about pop music and analyses why a hit becomes a hit. In this example he dissects "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift.

Range Of Light

A time-lapse is well overdue I think. I'll let the film-maker explain...
Yosemite National Park, the High Sierra, and the Eastern Sierra are some of the most beautiful places on earth. Ever since I serendipitously won a trip to Yosemite when I was 18, the beautiful Range of Light has captured my heart and become my home. Nothing brings me more joy than to share this life changing beauty with others.

Ever since I became fascinated with timelapse photography almost 2 years ago, after seeing the work of Tom Lowe, I’ve wanted to do a piece on Yosemite and the Sierra. Now after almost 2 years of shooting, I'm thrilled to share. I hope you enjoy my vision of my home, the majestic Yosemite & Sierra. Best viewed Full Screen with Sound :)

The Gun Song

There was a scene in the film "Pitch Perfect" where Anna Kendrick's character performs the song "When I'm Gone" using an empty cup as percussive accompaniment. It became a very popular scene and she has since released the song as a single and performed it on chat shows etc. In case you're not familiar with the scene...

The reason I'm telling you this is because the lead singer from a band called Ambers Drive, Jim Huish, has made a version using different guns. Well that escalated quickly.

Some fantastic GoPro footage taken as people throw themselves out of aeroplanes at Australia's Westcoast Sundowner in 2014. The Sundowner is a nine day "extravaganza of skydiving" event that is held every year.

I bet you've never heard AC/DC like this before. Finnish band Steve'n'Seagulls plays AC/DC's awesome song Thunderstruck in a funky hillbilly style. Recorded by Jaakko Manninen Photography.
