The Bigger Picture

I'm sure you've heard the phrase "to look at the bigger picture". In other words not to look at a specific issue but rather to view it in a larger context. Well if you've got issues with money, work or just life in general I have the very picture for you. One that may make you realise that your problems really do pale in to insignificance in the grand scheme of things.

On January 5th 2015, NASA released an image of the Andromeda galaxy, which is the closest galaxy to us. They captured the image using the NASA/ESA Hubble Telescope. It consists of 411 images and put together it is the largest image ever taken. It is 69,536 x 22,230 pixels, that’s a whopping 1.5 billion pixels and requires about 4.3 GB of disk space!
